Let’s Show Less Fortunate Area Seniors How Much Kingsbridge & Kingston Care!

Kingsbridge Retirement Community is elated to share that we are partnering with VON, Meals on Wheels™, to deliver care packages this Christmas season to isolated seniors in Kingston. What a unique opportunity! According to a report on isolation, published by the Canadian National Seniors Council, a lack of connection with others can have extremely detrimental effects on a senior’s well-being. Thus, the creation of our ‘Spread the Cheer, connecting with Seniors’ campaign’.

Kingsbridge is rallying support with local businesses and community members of Kingston to prepare 310 bundles of goodies that will be delivered by Meals on Wheels volunteers during this Christmas season. Each gift will include some practical essentials plus fun treats. We are allocating $30 for each gift (Cash or cheques graciously accepted as we won’t have to incur the GoFundMe cost). The deadline for donations is November 30th, 2022.
